What happened on test day 2010?
A very cold test day started the season 2010, with ice on the windows and frost on the floor, especially in the shadows around the circuit!
New Rider Mr. Morgan Thomas had his first ever practise on a bantam racer and I am pleased to anounce that he will be at the first event at Mallory on the 5th April, using a "bitza" which could well surprise us all, he got round on a number of practises, lets hope the smile continues!
Paul T siezed the Alpha rod big end in the first practise on the new out 150 bantam, and sorry to say that was the end of the line for that day. Keep up the good work mate and check out the main web site for information, plenty there.
New biuld man Mr. Jonathon Pierce was mooching round the paddock, as was Mr. D Betts! all hoping to pinch a few morsels of secret information! lets hope the bikes get out there soon! Derek is in hopes (I am told) to be out racing later in the season, fingers crossed for you Derek!!
Others seen wandering rather than practising were Andy Checkley and Steve Panter, both getting their mounts ready for the forth coming season and will be out there doing battle soon.
Robbie gave us all the most excitement with a coming together with the tarmac in the bus stop area on son michaels bike! all ok, as is the bike, but I gather Robbie managed to sieze his own bike that he was testing out as well, and is likely to need some efforts to get it sorted.
Nick Bramley was in trauma with a slippy clutch on his world beater new engine, all down to the rather expensive oil that he uses, so spend a lot less on your oil and you will be just fine!
Ian Scutt was out with the new bike and the old, just why do you need a new one? anyway the new one sets on fire too easy!!!!!
Alan Brown was in battery problems for the morning... it helps if you charge them up! but seemed ok later in the day.
Good luck to all at the Mallory race day 5th April, and here's to good weather.
Hopefully I will add a couple of pictures to this page soon.
